Questions about Chiropractic:

Why Chiropractic?

Chiropractic focuses on evaluating the structure of the spine and its’ relation to the symptoms or dysfunction occurring in the body. Your structural alignment is directly related to your body’s ability to function and last, through a lifetime of movement and environmental stressors.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic traditionally uses ones hands to restore motion to a segment in your spine that is not moving correctly (restricted). Restoring this motion serves to realign the structure of your spine and maintain its’ integrity.

What’s an “adjustment?”

An adjustment is the act of restoring motion to a restricted segment. This is traditionally done by ones hands. However, with modern advances we have different instruments and alternative ways to restore motion if it cannot or should not be done by ones hands.

Who should see a chiropractor?

Anyone can see a chiropractor. Chiropractic is extremely safe and non-invasive. Whether you have minor aches and pains, headaches, no recognizable complaint, or extreme pain, consulting a chiropractor is the ideal first step to determine if chiropractic care is right for you.

Questions about our office

How should I make an appointment?

Calling our office or emailing us through the website is the best way to make an appointment. On the phone we will find a day and time that works best for you to come in.

What will my first visit be like?

If not already done, we will need a small amount of intake paperwork. Once the doctor is ready, you will be escorted to the exam room where the doctor will go over the reasons bringing you in today and perform a specific exam to identify any areas of concern. If warranted, X-rays may be taken and can be gone over with you on the same day, during your report of findings, just prior to your first adjustment.

Can I use my insurance?

Most medical insurance plans cover chiropractic services. We are more than happy to verify your chiropractic benefits even if you don’t think it is covered.
